A green recovery which centre-stages climate action is the only way we can bounce forward and build back better and greener from the impact of Covid-19; and to withstand future shocks.
As a purpose-led community interest company Climate Action North is determined to continue to champion the necessary changes to halt the climate crisis.
Achieving this ambition requires collective action, and we know that business relationships are built on trust, reciprocity, and a genuine commitment to caring and doing business with each other.
That’s why we are launching The Green Recovery Action Network.
It will provide you with the opportunity to share experiences and ideas, to take responsibility, and accelerate climate action now.
What to expect: Informal online networking sessions to encourage fresh thinking; generate sustainable and innovative collaboration and ideas; and to take positive action to tackle the great challenges the climate and ecological crisis brings.
As this is a pilot and we are looking to test and learn along the way, we will continue to develop the network. In time, we will also launch sessions that will incorporate net-walking and facilitated discussion using nature-based activities that encourage adaptability and resilience, support teamwork and problem solving.
Who should join? Anyone who works for or owns a business that is interested in making connections, sharing ideas, and working collaboratively on green recovery tangible solutions, in step with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
How to get involved? If this is an opportunity that you’d like to be involved in, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our message is simple. Now is the time to take action, bounce forward to accelerate progress towards a new normal with nature firmly at the heart of a healthy and green recovery. Read more about this here.
The time for talking is over, today we need to act. Join us!
