Climate Action North is launching a series of online talks about nature and the climate crisis.
‘Let’s talk nature and climate” is hosted by Sharon Lashley who will chat to people with stories to tell, across the North and UK wide, in the climate crisis fight with a focus on how nature plays a key role.
The first edition features Edward Mayer who is the founder of Swift Conservation and a leading expert on swifts, which also coincided with the #SwiftAwarenessWeek campaign.
The new project follows the success of this year’s World Environment Day, which attracted over 100 viewers. The day featured an impressive line-up of speakers who spoke about the natural world, how they spend their time in nature, and encouraged action for the protection of our environment.
